CNC Routing VendorR&G ProductionsPO Box 443 Finksburg, MD 21048 410.517.0390 fax: 410.517.0392 R&G Productions was formed at about the same time that Hofmann Joinery was incorporated, and we've been working together ever since. With their CNC routing capacity and expertise, they have opened up new doors for me to expand the scope and complexity of my work, and to increase efficiency and lower costs. Metal Engraving and FabricationSiechert Engraving12935 Kentbury Drive PO Box 739 Clarksville, MD 21029 800.844.2270 Fax: 301.854.3333 Owner Ken Kiatta's attention to detail and fabrication skills are outstanding. Siechert Engraving's services are the reason the Deco mantel clocks came into production, and no other company that I found had the skill or competency to take on this project. Metal Plating and PolishingMetro Plating and Polishing, Inc.www.metroplating.com 4110 Howard Avenue Kensington, MD 20895 301.493.4009 Metro Plating did a great job on the plating and polishing of the parts on the mantel clocks, which were numerous and tiny. Their expertise was much appreciated when I was researching this project as well. They were also able to put my order together on very short notice, which enabled me to introduce these clocks at a furniture show. ArchitectChristian Zapatka Design LLC1427 27th Street NW Washington, DC 20007 202.235.2735 Fax: 202.333.5372 Christian is an up-and-coming architect in the metropolitan Washington area, and his work really has its own signature. He has an incredible talent for exercising architectural imagination while keeping his designs appropriate for their purpose, environment, and surroundings; that balance is not easy to achieve. It has been an interesting journey working with Christian, as he is continually presenting me with projects that are very stylistic and challenging. Antique Metal RefinishingThe Brass and Copper Shop13 S. Carrol Street Frederick, MD 21701 301.663.4240 Don Reedy's store and services have been a great discovery for me. On a large apartment renovation that I was involved in, Don carefully restored, polished, and lacquered all of the original 1909 hardware. For the homeowner, the intrinsic value of re-installing her "new" old hardware couldn't be beat. Don also runs a great store in historic downtown Frederick where he sells all manner of incredible, restored, antique lighting fixtures. His showroom at the Washington Design Center features some of the top furniture lines in the country. Web DesignKieran Chapmanwww.kieranchapman.net I feel very fortunate to have had someone with as much creative talent as Kieran to design and build my website. His work speaks for itself, but I can attest to his professionalism and ability to listen to his client's needs. Kieran also has a keen sense of what "works" on a website in terms of layout, aesthetics, and ease of use for the general viewing public. These were some of the necessary components of a successful website that I hadn't even considered. As a result, it was amazing to watch my own visions processed, improved, and realized. I'm still proud of Kieran's work every time I visit the site. |
